The Jaguar I-Pace is one of the best electric vehicles available. It looks better and has a more comfortable interior than the Model Y. The Jaguar is one of the first compact luxury vehicles in its segment with an EV drivetrain and off-road ability. The sales figures are not as good because it lacks the Tesla logo. With adaptive height air suspension, the car has 11 inches of ground clearance and a 20-inch water-fording ability. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in just over 4 seconds. This is as fast as the base Model Y. At 184.3 inches long, it is a little shorter than the Model Y but is still a compact luxury crossover. Build quality, fit, and finish exceed the Tesla lineup. It has a fake grill up front. It features full LED headlamps. There is also some cooling duct at the bottom for the air conditioning. It has a dual-motor setup producing 394 horsepower and 512 lb-ft of torque. The skateboard-style battery pack sits completely underneath with a nominal capacity of 90 kWh and 85 kWh of usable power. The onboard charger is rated at 7 kW. That means that you can add 20-21 miles of range for every hour of level 2 charging. The i-Pace falls behind with DC charging. It has less rear legroom and cargo space than Model Y. It does not have a completely flat floor. The instrument cluster is a full LCD, is configurable, and features three-position memory settings for passenger seats.This HSE model does not have all the options available in the i-Pace
The purchase experience is very different between Jaguar and Tesla. All local Jaguar dealerships have at least $5,000 of customer cash on the hood. Also, it qualifies for a full tax credit of $7500. For all that, you can bring the Jaguar down to about $55,000.
Because this has narrower all-season tires the efficiency went from 2.9 to 3 miles per kilowatt hour. The cabin noise test resulted in 71 decibels.
The steering is great and the ride is a little softer than the Model Y. The suspension has a little more body roll and tip in dive. It lacks the modern or retro look that Jags used to be known for

With the adaptive air suspension on the I-Pace there can be 11 inches of ground clearance. This has Jeep Grand Cherokee light ground clearance. The Jaguar is simply the only option on sale if you aren't interested in waiting for something like the Rivian pickup truck or SUV line
If those things are true, then it means the Jaguar I-Pace can check all the boxes that the EV shoppers originally claimed they wanted. The 2021 Jaguar I-Pace is a perfect choice.
