Video Summary
The Audi e-Tron GT shares architecture with the Porsche Taycan, about 40% of the car. The muscular body of the Audi is more appealing than the Porsche. The chunky taillights, however, aren’t a favorite design feature. On the road, the car has a massive and muscular presence.Powered by two motors, one in the front and one in the rear, the rear motor is connected to a two-speed transmission.
The prestige base model has 469 horsepower, which can be over-boosted to approximately 520.
The reviewed e-Tron GT comes with the Driver’s Package and, more importantly, the Performance Package. The Performance Package adds four-wheel steering, improving the turning radius and giving it better performance, and torque vectoring rear differential to send power to the outside wheel when carving a corner.
The vehicle is practical, with a normal trunk instead of a hatchback. The trunk also has a fair amount of room, which can be extended because the rear seats fold down.
The rear seats are cozy with plenty of headroom despite the curvaceous roofline. There is a middle seat that features a middle seat belt. Also the rear includes an armrest and charging ports.
The reviewer did note the cool carbon fiber brake pedal. Front button isn't on the door, but rather a button. Has some storage, but not ton of space up front. Adds washer fluid to the front. On the 20 inch wheels, there is plenty of sidewall with 245/45 up front and 285/40 in the rear, good for the ride quality. The interior feels like a normal Audi, featuring a normal start/stop button.
It is very quiet when starting.
Is not quite as fast as a Tesla.
It feels very ordinary in that it is a wonderful German car. Not outrageous in dynamic handling, despite weighing 5,000 pounds.
The reviewer liked using the brake.
Paddle shifters manage regen.

The car does not have a one-pedal driving feel. Tesla is not that type of car. Very easy to drive the Audi on the highway.
