Video Summary

The base Model 3's exterior looks the same as the Long Range. The base Model 3 doesn't have fog lights. Without the Dual Motor badge, the exterior looks identical to the long range.

The base rear-wheel-drive Model 3’s interior looks identical to other Model 3 trims in terms of looks. The biggest complaint is that the base Model 3 doesn't offer ambient lighting. It is pitch black at night without any faint glow of the vehicle running. Tesla is just being cheap here.

The key performance difference is the number of motors, with the base model having a single motor in the rear. It is still quick, at 5.8 seconds for 0-60.

The suspension is a little stiff, but the same as the Long Range. The ride smooths out on the highway. Air suspension is not offered. The suspension relies on coil springs, but I like how the car handles in corners.

The seats are comfortable. Both front seats have power adjustments, and the driver's seat has lumbar support.

The stated range of the rear-wheel-drive model is 272 miles with 18-inch wheels. A 95-mile round-trip commute uses approximately 40% of the battery.

With the LFP battery, the vehicle can be charged to 100% all the time. Taking extended road trips is not a problem due to the supercharging network.

The rear-wheel drive's max charging speed is 170 kW, compared to 250 kW for the Long Range. The rear-wheel-drive only gets eight speakers and no subwoofer. However, the sound system is more than adequate. Floor mats are not included.

Overall, this is a fun car to drive. There is a high recommendation for Tesla. The car may not be the prettiest or most luxurious, but it is super comfortable and fast enough. Constant software updates add new features.
