Video Summary

The base price of the CLA 250 starts at $46,350 including destination. The car has a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 221 horsepower and 258 pound-foot of torque. A dual-clutch 8-speed automatic transmission maximizes power. The CLA 250 now gets a mild hybrid 48-volt motor giving a 13-horsepower boost in the lower RPM range, which makes accelerations feel quicker. This all-wheel-drive system adds to confidence around corners and in inclement weather with minimum body roll. However, the seat comfort could be better, the reviewer found the seats a bit hard.

Exterior tweaks include a new grille and a new diffuser in the rear. The look is similar to that of the current CLA models.

Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless charging, and a garage door-opening system are standard features. The MBUX assistant, while working with voice commands and having decent performance, can be clunky.

Driver assistance packages include steering assist, lane change assist, and active braking with cross-traffic functions.

The AMG Night Package starts at $3,150 and primarily upgrades the brakes and makes the car look sportier. Leather seats are $1,450, and wood trim is $325. A Pinnacle Trim is offered for $3,900 and gives access to more amenities, such as a head-up display.
