Video Summary

The Omoda E5 is a good-looking and small SUV. It features walk-up unlock and walk-away lock. Most more expensive cars don’t even have that function.  The car also has a full-size spare tire. The trunk is surprisingly small at 300 liters. A 19-liter frunk is large enough for only charging equipment. The charging port is located at the front, which is not ideal. The rear is suited for four people with good legroom and headroom. Power windows and USB-A and -C ports are in the rear. A more pleasant drive experience comes with Eco Mode On, Energy Recovery Low, Brake Linked Driving Mode Off, and Brake Pitch Control High. Lacking is one-pedal driving.  The steering wheel is cheap plastic. Rapid fast charging also needs improving. The car features a 61 kWh LFP battery. AC (slow) charging goes from 30 to 100% in about 4 hours. DC (fast) charging goes from 30 to 80% in 28 minutes with an 80 kW limit.
