The 2025 Mini Countryman has grown larger to accommodate a shared platform. A 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission powers the base model and delivers 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The John Cooper Works version has 312 horsepower. The electric version with a 64.7 kWh battery yields up to 313 horsepower and 342 km/212 miles of range and all models have AWD.Key standard features include a 9.4-inch round touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless charger, a head-up display, leatherette and cloth upholstery, six-way manual front seats, a heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and remote engine start.
The dual-clutch transmission feels slightly jerky compared to smoother automatic transmissions. Noise, vibration, and harshness are good, though some wind noise is present on the highway. It is great to be back in a mini, although the Countryman’s dimensions have significantly increased. Even then it retains a fun and dynamic drive. Driving Assistant Professional provides hands-free driving up to 60 km/h.

There are three power trains available, making it a good platform. The exterior is awkward, it must’ve been difficult to make due to it being bigger, yet also be the mini.

The 2025 Mini Countryman S Premier is priced at $45,990 CAD, with the SE Electric costing $59,990 CAD.
Some of the competitors are the Audi Q3, Volvo XC40 and Cadillac CT4.
The good are the standard features and how well it handles.
Would love to see a vented front set and better exterior design.
Legroom is 40.4” for front and 37” on the second row and is similar to the X1. There is a decent cargo area and spare tire underneath.
