Video Summary

The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq Sport starts at just under $80,000. The Sport trim costs $500 more than the Luxury trim, with less chrome accents being the primary difference. Brmbo brakes, adaptive suspension and rear axial steering are not available, not giving the full potential out of this model and platform. Rumors say, Cadillac is not coming back with another generation XT6. Cadillac is committed to going fully EV by 2030.

The Vistiq is the EV equivalent to the XT6 and has a very important place in the market due to its size, with a length of 205 inches. It is six inches longer than the XT6, and similar in size to an older Escalade. The model takes design elements from the Lyriq, Optiq, and Escalade IQ.

The Vistiq also includes full LED headlights with LED daytime running lights that create a cascading waterfall effect with lighting for the grill. The lower portion of the bumper includes gloss black trim, signaling no off-roading. It has 7.2 inches of ground clearance, enough to take on winter road conditions. It comes standard with 21-inch alloy wheels.

Passengers in the second row get 40 inches of legroom, and all have an upscale cabin. You have to settle for non genuine leather Interlux seats but there is power adjustability, heating, ventilation, and massaging included in the front seats. There is also a heated wrapped steering wheel.

There is Android-based software, and a full digital gauge cluster. There are different display layout options: Gauge, Energy, Map, Assist, and Clean. Dual functionality remains with a rotary dial and quick access buttons on the center console. A central dual-zone climate control is installed that is synched with the driver’s side. Five-zone climate control is standard in the vehicle. Passengers in the third row get their own small sunroof.

The vehicle includes 615 horsepower, 650 pound feet of torque, and 300 miles of range. The zero-to-60 time is 3.7 seconds.
The vehicle doesn't have frunk cargo space. The rear cargo area offers 15 cubic feet of room. There is also a very deep side pocket on the left side, as well as another small storage compartment under the floor mat. The digital rear view mirror also helps with the vehicle visibility.
The Vistiq feels cumbersome in corners with a lack of maneuverability, and this feeling can be alleviated with higher trim levels with the Brmbo brakes and adaptive suspension.
