The A-shaped grill has been reinterpreted for the electric age with an innovative star panel illuminated for the first time on a Mercedes Benz. It contains 142 individually animated LED chrome effect stars and has an optional multi-beam LED headlights whose daytime running lights take the form of the Mercedes Benz star. The tail lights are also star shaped, connected by an illuminated design element.
The interior provides a new luxury experience. Its design reduces the underlying structure and focuses on a few iconic high-tech elements. The option super screen extends across the interior. The driver display, center console, and large door panels add to the effect.
It includes an MB operating system which is connected to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud. The CLA will be available as a hybrid with 48-Volt technology with an electric motor in the transmission. It has front wheel and 4Matic all-wheel drive options, and a range of up to 792 Kilometers. The CLA250+ offers a large radius. The CLA354Matic is positioned as the performance version with 260 kilowatts.
