5 Things I Hate About The NEW Volvo ES90

Uploaded 5 months ago by Kris Rifa

Video Summary

The Volvo ES90 is a brand new large five-door fastback, essentially the electric version of the Volvo S90, but does not replace the S90 for a few years. At launch, there will be three versions available.  The rear seats look huge but, due to a large battery pack, the floor is high and results in an awkward seating position. Although it has a practical shape, for such a large vehicle the trunk has a limited capacity of 446 liters. The frunk is even smaller, and it is difficult to shut the front because you have to push it on the latch at two locations. The interior is beautiful, but all controls are buried within the infotainment system which makes adjustments not very intuitive. The cheap DC port cover design also is not a very elegant solution. Overall, the ES90 is a very new and exciting package with super-fast charging and good range, and will likely be a good car for Volvo. The Twin Motor version can get quite expensive.
