Video Summary

Hennessey Performance has released a video of their upgraded 6x6 Chevy Silverado, called Goliath.

The Goliath starts with a new Silverado, then is lifted 8 inches, the bed is extended, and another axle is bolted on.

Power can be sent to all six wheels.

Power comes from a 2.9-liter supercharger bolted to the Chevy's 6.2-liter V8.

The cost is $375,000.

A 6 wheel drive Ford Raptor is also offered.

The Tesla Model S Long Range Plus gets an official EPA range of 402 miles.

The range is a big increase over the Model S P100D's previous range of 335 miles.

This is achieved using narrower and more aerodynamic wheels, tires with less rolling resistance, and improvements to the front motors.

A new regenerative braking feature sends more energy to the battery pack.

The whole car is lighter than before, but Tesla hasn't said by how much.

This all adds up to a 20% improvement without changing the battery pack.

GM performance has a new and improved LS crate motor.

It is the LS427-570.

It is a replacement for the famous LS7.

This engine debuted in the 2006 Corvette Z06.

The original engine was praised for its broad torque strength and sky-high redline.

The new motor produces 570 horsepower and 540 pound-feet of torque.

The downside of the LS427-570 is they ditched the dry-sump oil system for a more traditional setup.

This new motor is perfect for a '66 Nova or a third-gen Corvette, but the reviewer would like to see it in a Jensen Interceptor or a John Deere tractor.
