Climate and seat settings are found below the main display area. Above are apps and a car menu, and five apps are selectable. The climate settings can be switched by touching the screen. There is an on-off button. The home button returns the screen to the home menu. Driver and passenger seats have controls for ventilation and heating. The ID.7 is unique in having seat ventilation; other ID models do not.With ID.7, you adjust the app favorites that can be accessed from climate, not Eco, and on models below ID.7, the number of buttons is reduced. Settings can be reached by scrolling down. The favorite buttons include brightness, and brightness setting for interior lights. The layout can be configured.
The climate section contains controls for the auto air vents. Three for five models have manual adjustment. Those vents can also be turned on or off on this screen. All climate settings can be set here.
Navigation settings include routes for electric vehicle planning and can automatically plan charging stops with route guidance. Speed, connection, and temperature are also displayed in this overview screen. There are options to avoid tolls and highways. The driver may also set a custom speed warning.
Seat ventilation is only in the ID.7. 3-4-5 ID versions have 4 home screen buttons. The seat has massage functions.
Car2x technology has a traffic hazard alert. Driver profiles can save settings; these can be customized including climate control and sound. The infotainment system may require an app update. The user's system has five customizable layouts.
