It does not have quick ratio steering like the Model Y, but its ride quality is better, even with 21-inch wheels. The ride quality is firm, but without the "busyness" of the Model Y. The Audi E-tron has adaptive air suspension. The cabin is much quieter than in the Model Y. Leather wrapped interiors and Bang & Olufsen stereo options are available. Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay are available in the Audi.
The Audi E-tron's better, more natural visibility than the Model Y, and its electronic visibility aids are also better positioned. Its trip planning function is less polished, however, than what the Model Y offers. With home charging, after one hour, the Tesla added 46 miles of range to its battery, while the Audi added 28 miles of range.
Ultimately, the Model Y does EV things better than the E-tron, but the E-tron is a better luxury vehicle than the Model Y. Both vehicles represent two different approaches to luxury EV SUVs.
