Audi Q4 e-tron 45 Quattro charging test

Uploaded 1 year ago by Bjørn Nyland

Video Summary

The Audi Q4 e-tron with the new charging curve can still hit 175 kW. The car's charging curve is flatter.

The Polestar actually hits over 200 kW.

The Tesla Model Y didn’t reach 250 kW as expected and dropped below 200 kW rapidly.

The e-tron charges slowly in the beginning. It steadily builds speed. It can maintain 175 kW for a long time.

Opening the door might cause the compressor to stop temporarily.

The e-tron can charge faster than the Polestar and Model Y at roughly 50%.

By 80%, Polestar starts throttling, but the e-tron maintains speed.

At 90%, Tesla's Model Y has taken the lead.

A full charge (to 100%) took the e-tron about 57 minutes. The VW ID.5 GTX needed a little over an hour. The GTX has a charging curve comparable to the old e-tron.
