Video Summary

The Peugeot e-3008 is the first vehicle on Stellantis' new platform. The car is 1.90m wide without side mirrors and 2.11m with them. LED headlights are standard, and optional LED Pixel lights are offered. The front is drastically different from the previous model.  

The car uses a 157kW electric motor on the front axle, producing 210hp and 345 Nm of torque.  Acceleration from 0-100 km/h occurs in 8.8 seconds, and the top speed is 170 km/h. Its consumption is 16.8 - 17.7 kWh per 100 km, allowing a range of 524 km on a full charge.

The GT model has high-gloss black elements as contrast. It has optional 20-inch wheels and the multi-tone design is a real eye-catcher. Wheel housings and rocker panels are also in high-gloss black on the GT trim.

At 4.54m long, it has a 2.73m wheelbase and a 1.64m height; typical dimensions for the segment. The fastback style gives the rear passengers more headroom. The car boasts black rearview mirror caps and blacked-out B-pillars and rear windows.

The e-3008’s cargo volume is 520 liters, expandable to 1,480 liters with the rear seats folded, an amount applicable to all motors. It has a flat loading area with small compartments on both sides and an adjustable height for added versatility.

The e-3008 comes with LED headlights and 19-inch alloy rims in the base trim. The 3008 has no ordinary i-cockpit or head-up display because it has a one screen instrument panel. An ergo comfort driver's seat is standard, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual motors and a long-range option are coming later. The base Allure model with a 1.2-liter mild-hybrid starts at €39,250; the electric version starts at €48,650.

The car offers a multi-function steering wheel, a wide screen cockpit with dual 10-inch monitors. A heat pump and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and digital radio are included in the base model. Interior materials and build quality are appealing. There is also a wireless charging dock, an optional panoramic glass roof and much more.

The electric version offers 3 recuperation levels. There's no one-pedal driving mode. Small bumps are felt, but the ride is comfortable and quiet.

There’s a tiredness monitoring system, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking are standard. Also standard is the traffic sign recognition and rear-view camera. Optional systems are a cross-traffic assistant.

It has a direct steering that can turn in the corners easily. There are two interior complaints: the blinker sound and some creaking noises.

The test vehicles’ computer reported 19.2 kwh per 100 km.
