BYD ATTO 3 review | Ever heard of Build Your Dreams?

Video Summary

The BYD Atto 3 can be obtained after grant for just over €37,000. There are three different trim specs. The car has a cobalt-free blade battery and a heat pump. A range of 420km on a single charge can be achieved. A 25% energy saving in cold winter weather is suggested by thermal management. The car is consuming 14 kilowatt hours per 100 kilometers without trying.

Glitch is noticed in the software and polarizing interior design, but is ethical. The interior has guitar strings in the door bins. The price, five-star Euro NCAP rating, reliable range, and thermal management are pros. It also sports an 11kW on-board charger and charges at 90kW on a faster charger, getting 20-80% in under 44 minutes.

The front end has a simple, aerodynamic design. Blue tints are added to the headlights. It is a front wheel drive vehicle. It has roof rails. The tail lights are bright with a long LED strip, but is stuck with “Build Your Dreams” on the back. The reviewer recommends getting “Build Your Dreams” removed from the back.

In the back of the vehicle, there is a flat floor that offers plenty of space for your feet.  Rear passengers will get a lot of light thanks to a glass roof. There are aviation inspired vents. Rear USB-C and USB-A charging ports are included.

Wireless charging is built-in. The screen can be portrait or landscape mode. There are different modes and snow mode. While a bit unusual, steering is easy. It contains both active cruise control, distance to the car in front, steering wheel based volume control and microphone voice commands. It is a 200 brake horsepower and 60 kilowatt hour battery vehicle, that is suitable for a family, with an average-sized boot.

Compared to conventional brands, it offers more for the same or comparable cost. It's just another electric car.
