Video Summary

Here is the summary of the YouTube video:

The reviewer is testing the electric Citroen e-C3. The previous Citroen C3 on this channel was a static prototype. The production model costs more than 107,000 Polish zloty, while the fully equipped version MAX costs more than 120,000.

The Citroen C3 has a new design with a new logo. Headlights use LED technology. The daytime running lights are shaped like the letter C, divided by minimal grille. Real air intakes are lower. The front bumper refers to the previous model.

The new Citroen C3 is no longer a small hatchback, but a crossover. The new C3 is slightly higher, with plastic wheel arches. The base version has 16-inch aluminum wheels and the Max has 17-inch wheels. Black accents fit well on a grey car and it also has roof rails, not in the base version. The presented model is electric, with an "e" badge on the door.

The back design repeats the front. Rear lights use the C-shape theme. It has a black strip with the logo and a multi-color bumper with a hidden fog light. The trunk opens manually on all versions. Trunk capacity is 310 liters, 10L more than previous model, but with a significant loading sill.

The car’s interior has undergone a transformation, with the removal of many elements. A display behind the steering wheel has replaced it, and is called “Citroen Head Up”. In the base model, no screen is equipped; it has just a cell phone holder with a USB. In the reviewed model, there is a 10.25 inch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The screen provides a limited set of features for the driver. The lane assist and sign recognition are on a physical button on the left. There is also manual reflector control. The central tunnel has two cup holders and piano black finish with a gear selector. A USB port and armrest are also included.

The seats are comfortable and the upholstery looks good. The presenter is not a target audience member and he dislikes the materials. There are pockets on the back of the front seats. Isofixes are hidden with zippers. Two USB ports of type C are available at the back.

The presenter tested the car by driving on the A2 highway at max 135km/h, with specific comments:
The interior gets very loud, wind and road noise; energy usage is not possible to evaluate as the car doesn’t show it. The ride is ok with minor imperfections. However, he doesn't find it comfortable.

According to the manual, the car should travel 460 km at one charge. Given a 44.2 kWh battery and the declared numbers, driving at 135 on the highway it only managed 100 km. The 100 kW charging is not a reality, as it charged with 45 kW, requiring one hour to charge the car.

The conclusion is that this is not the best EV car. At this price range, better used EVs can be found. The reviewer does not recommend the car and is waiting for viewer’s opinions.
