Cupra Born VZ review | Cupra have finally got this car so right!

Video Summary

The Cupra Born is more desirable than its cousin, the ID3. The new version has 75% more power than other Borns, including the e-boost version. Now available as the dual motor VZ with 321 brake horsepower. It features a larger 79-kilowatt-hour battery. The range could be well over 500 kilometers. The model name is no longer on the car, only the Cupra badge. The new alloys have copper in the spokes, and feature aerodynamic qualities. The side skirts also have a lip that improves aerodynamics. The VZ badge is on the rear of the car. Bucket-style front seats are available as an optional extra and are better than those in the new Tavascan. The steering wheel is a Cupra style. The 12-inch screen platform is similar to previous models. Bucket seats will squeeze passengers in the thighs, restricting the gentleman areas a little. A rear traction light will flicker away as one pushes it through the paces. It hits 100 km per hour in a little over 5 seconds. It needs a DSG gearbox; otherwise, it is truly like a different car. Given all the great features, if someone has one on order, be excited. It is like an electric Golf GTI.

Even with all the new improvements, there is a reduction in kilowatts per 100 kilometers. It drives sportier when comparing it to the ID3. And it's the little details as the car corners sharp, the seat hugs, and you can feel the kick in the traction.
