Video Summary

The Cupra Tavascan is a dynamically designed, bold electric SUV, bigger than the Cupra Born. It features unique light displays including an illuminated Cupra logo. It is 4.64 meters in size. It has a coupe-like design with a transparent spoiler providing a unique effect. The electric tailgate leads to a cargo volume of 540 liters, expanding to over 1500 liters with the seats down. There is no Frunk, so the charging cable goes beneath the boot floor. The interior has familiar VW components but is arranged uniquely.  The large screen stands freely, along with a smaller driver display.  Copper accents are also present. While it looks great, the plastic feels cheap.  The reviewer does not like the touch-sensitive steering wheel controls. The two window switches serve all four windows. Though it's on a VW MEB platform, it feels sportier and more engaging than an ID.5 or Skoda Enyaq. It features 77kWh capacity. For launch, it comes with a 210 kW rear-wheel-drive motor or a 250 kW all-wheel-drive motor with the latter doing 0-100km/h in just under 6 seconds. It is limited to 180km/h. It can go from 20% to 80% charge in about 30 minutes but only charges at 11kW AC and 135kW DC. The base price is around €56,210, while the VZ model is estimated to be over €60,000.  While the reviewer is impressed by the exterior design of the car, they are disappointed by the materials of the interior, given the price point.
