Everything I LOVE and HATE about my Lucid Air Touring!

Video Summary

The Lucid Air Touring showcases impressive battery and motor technology in a compact drive unit that can output 670 horsepower. It’s as aerodynamic as the Mercedes EQS. The rear doors open a full 90 degrees, and it features soft-close doors, rear window sunshades, and a cut-out in the floor to provide more legroom. The front trunk is particularly spacious and power-operated. The car’s small differential allowed Lucid to rearrange the internals and improve passenger space.

The majority of software-related issues have been addressed through updates. Carplay has been buggy, but the built-in navigation works properly. It has excellent range overall.

Cons include the less-than-ideal volume control and a Bluetooth car key that can take a while to connect. The test car does not have auto-steering on the highway. Still, on the technology level, the batteries, motors, design, build quality, and materials are excellent. Given the lease deals offered, it offers a good value and an enjoyable driving experience. Lucid needs a less expensive model to reach the wider market.
