Fiat 500e - 90 km/h full range test

Uploaded 4 years ago by Battery Life

Video Summary

The Fiat 500e charged to 99% at 12-13 kW. At 99%, the charger showed 394V at 1 Amp but zero kW, then said 100% in the car.

The test was a constant speed of 91 km/h in Range mode.

Average consumption was 13 kWh/100km.

The cruise control does not work well against the sun. A “temporary unavailable” message appears and the car jumps out of cruise control.

The armrest is extremely hard, so the reviewer used a sweater for comfort.

At 75% and 73 driven kilometers, 292 kilometers of full range was projected. At that point, the range stated 184 kilometers.

When the reviewer reached 50% and drove 137 kilometers, a full range of 274 kilometers was projected.

Google Maps shows 261 km driven.

When Google Maps said 261 km, with 99.5% to 8% battery use, the reviewer calculated a 285 km range with the average speed at 87.5 km/h, and a consumption of 126 Wh/km.

Overall, the drive was perfect, but overreporting of distance and the cruise control not working into direct sunlight are problems. The car is in holiday season, hence higher usage and a traffic jam before this destination.
