Video Summary

Here are the findings from the video review:

The Mazda 6e is slightly bigger than class leaders, at 4.9 meters long, placing it between a VW ID7 and a Tesla Model 3 or BMW i4. Its starting price should be around £37,000, undercutting many rivals, including the VW which starts at £51,000.  The reviewer liked the looks; it is not crazy or offensive but reasonably dramatic. Unique front lights show battery charge. It has a 72-litre front trunk (frunk), same as Model 3.

The standard model boasts a 258hp motor powering rear wheels, paired with a 68.9kWh LFP battery, offering an official 299-mile range. Efficiency reaches 4.3 miles per kWh. Peak DC charge rate is 165kW. The long-range model has 345 miles, 80kWh battery and can charge at 90kW. The long range version costs more, takes 47 minutes (10-80%) to charge and is slower when driving. Standard 19-inch wheels, same size throughout the range.

The door handles can be difficult to use, frameless doors, like a coupe, is a nice feature. The automatic spoiler pops up at 90 km/h, down at 50 km/h, unless in sport mode. The boot (466 litres) is bigger than many rivals.

The rear is really nice and features a big panoramic sunroof. Has controls for sun blinds. Legroom is very adequate.

The car’s "sports car essence" is evident, rides well, and has near-perfect weight distribution.

The instrument screens respond quickly. Though there are things like gesture controls, they have not yet been successfully used. It is quiet, with little wind or road noise.

The speed alerts are inaccurate. The steering is slightly artificial.

The reviewer liked it, considered it special and could see himself living with the car, adding he thinks it is a really nice package.
