The 10 mm socket is then used to remove bolts that secure the fender liner. There are two of these bolts.
If the Mercedes-Benz star emblem lights up, it must be turned counterclockwise to remove it. Then disconnect the plug. Also disconnect the outside temperature sensor on the passenger side.
To remove the remainder of the front bumper, push on the small clips on either side. Underneath the car, seven bolts must be removed, three on each side and one in the middle.
After these steps, the bumper is able to be pulled off.
