Kia e Niro 4 year 52,000 mile review | Kia e Niro Service Cost, Range Loss and Degradation?

Video Summary

The Kia e-Niro 4+ continues to be loved after 52,000 miles. It passed its second Ministry of Transport test with flying colors. The car features a VESS button on the 4+ version, that silences the hum that is an audible warning below 15 mph and helpful with quiet reverse. However, the VESS is not available on the Niro EV. Turning the button off also silences the reverse beep of the car. The only annoyance with the car is from rear passengers not straightening the seat belt which will result in banging trim and possible door jamb dings. The range has not degraded and provides 300+ miles in the summer, and 235-240 miles in the winter. Original Michelin tires became noisy, sounding like a wheel bearing after rear axle realignment. Replacement Firestones began to wear unevenly at 41,000 miles. Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyres are being used after that. The 5th service was $522.30 USD and an annual brake service is highly recommended. For the battery condition, it’s still at 100% so no degradation.
