Video Summary

Here is the summary:

This is a front-wheel drive, 201-brake horsepower, fully electric car. Real-world range is over 300 kilometers, hopefully between 350 and 400; WLTP is about 475. The car has a 71-kilowatt-hour battery, but the usable part is 64, which provides a quite-large buffer. Windows are about as close to silent as windows can get.

The Lexus nose is totally Lexus. The front end catches a lot of bugs. The sharp angles of the headlights are classically Lexus. The car is 4910mm long, quite long, with a long nose. Shark fins on the sides over the rear spoiler are there for aero qualities, and mirrors are huge.

This car promises 150kW, but the best charging speed observed was 74kW. The car can't pre-condition the battery through heating it up to get a faster charge, so the driver has to go with the car's temperature, meaning they won't always get the promised charging speed. Has DC charging port on the front, which is easier for tight charging spaces. Also has an 11kW AC on-board charger.

All the colors are optional extras and add 1500 pounds to the price of the car. There's a light bar across the rear. There is a good bit of black plastic housing. The large black heavily tinted rear windscreen has no wiper, which benefits aerodynamics. The boot is generous at 522 liters. There is a flexible parcel shelf cover that even bends in the middle. There are elastic bands to hold things in place.

The bench seat is a little raised due to the batteries. There is a double sunroof, with amazing head height and lots of space for feet and knees. There are two USB-C wireless charging points and a nice armrest. The towing capacity is 750 kilos braked. The steer-by-wire is coming in 2024.

You get what you pay for with quality. There's a standard heat pump, but the seats aren’t air-cooled. The car feels Lexis. The suspension is double wishbone at the rear and Macpherson strut at the front. It is relatively quick and flat handling in corners. The floor is sealed underneath the car, to reduce wind noise. The hazard lights come on automatically if another car approaches too quickly from behind. In this executive spec, there is a one-million-kilometer warranty on the battery for 10 years if serviced in a Lexus dealership.
