Video Summary

Here's the summary of the video review of the Maruti Suzuki eVitara:

The Maruti Suzuki eVitara is the company's first electric car, a huge milestone for them. Rather than a small hatchback, they decided to go with a more popular SUV segment. Essentially, it’s an electric version of the Grand Vitara but it is a completely different-looking car. The car's appearance is not overly futuristic.

The design is more conventional with a flat nose due to the absence of a large grille and cooling vents. The front houses the motor, and the car is front-wheel drive. It has very nice sculpturing, similar to Toyota's design. The bonnet has gentle creases and rigid ones. Overall, the bumper and headlights look nice and aggressive. Although slightly curvaceous, it's not as straight-edged as the Sierra EV.

The wheels are 18 inches, the largest Maruti offers on any car in India, which are arrow-style wheels, and they look like those offered by Hyundai, Mahindra, and Tata. It also features a polished structure on the side with muscular lines everywhere. The three-part tail lights also feature a light structure similar to the front ones. Maruti has done three-dot LEDs in the front on the Naxa products, but this version looks different and may become the new generation for Maruti's design.

The cabin has a color palette that consists of gray leather on the side, perforated cloth in the center, and almost tan leather on other components. The seat is comfortable. There's a new, large 10-inch screen. The volume and AC are controlled via buttons. The phone has a pad charger, large cupholders, etc. and has Level 2 ADAS. The door handle is positioned higher at the top and there is no center armrest and no panoramic sunroof but just a large pane sunroof. The back offers good legroom and headroom.

This could be one of the coolest bits in the car, this three-piece daytime running light on the front side of the car. Overall, the material used on the touch and feel points on the seats are what you touch. The exterior looks very impressive.

There are two battery options, 49 kWh and 61 kWh, both having 192 Nm torque, but different horsepower. The smaller has 144 horsepower, while the bigger one has 175 horsepower. The range is around 500 km but the estimated realistic range will be around 370 to 380 km or a bit more.

Overall, this should sell well at the range of 20 to 25 lakh rupees.
