Video Summary

The Zeekr 7X is a mid-size SUV and the third Zeekr product to launch in Australia. The Zeekr brand is owned by Geely, the same owners of Volvo and Polestar. Zeekr is positioning itself as the strongest of the Chinese EV brands.
The 7X's target market is the Tesla Model Y, but it sits a bit upmarket in terms of materials and the driving experience.
The estimated price for this SUV is from $70,000 AUD. The vehicle has clean styling along the side. At least in China, this car has electronic doors.
The cabin is described as not traditional luxury like leather and wood, but still high quality. There are other color choices available. It features a conventional instrument cluster.  The center screen is sixteen inches and has software that is easy to use. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a good hi-fi stereo, are part of the package. There are real physical shortcuts on the squircle steering wheel, including indicator and direction selectors, and dual smartphone chargers.
This car is equipped with cup holders, and there's an optional white interior available with heated and cooled seats. There is a "cool" glove box that opens from both sides, containing a little square key. There is massive legroom and very good headroom with the thick sunroof.
China’s testing regime tends to inflate range and charging speeds. Two batteries will be globally available, with varying specs for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The larger NMC battery provides better range at the expense of peak charging speed. Also, this SUV can be equipped with an air suspension.

The car’s peak DC charging speed is 360kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 13 minutes with the smaller battery. It will be necessary for the suspension to be retuned for Australian roads. On the Chinese roads test driven, with the dampers set to comfort, it was quite soft.  Road feel isn’t a particular strength, and the steering feels rather light. The motor picks up quickly and linearly, without throwing you into the seat back. Its regenerative braking also is highly regarded.
