Video Summary

The Toyota C-HR+ is the electric version of the hybrid C-HR. The design and size are similar to the standard C-HR. The design is a very sharp Toyota look. It measures 4.52 meters. Platform-wise, it's more related to the BZ4X. It slots between the Urban Cruiser and the BZ4X in size. The roofline is dramatically sloped. 20-inch wheels are shown, but smaller wheels would improve range and comfort. A wide plastic trim covers the lower areas, completing a crossover look.

It’s available in both FWD and AWD. Two battery options are available, 58 kWh and 77 kWh (gross values).
The bigger battery option comes in front or all-wheel-drive. It has 343 hp and accelerates 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. Charging is done with 11 kW or 22 kW AC optional. DC fast charging is done up to 150kW, charging from 10%-80% in 30 mins. The top speed is estimated at 160 km/h. Expect around 400 km of range with the larger battery. The driver assistance and infotainment are very modern. There is a large 14-inch infotainment display and a high-mounted instrument display. There are two inductive charging slots that are not cooled. A fixed panoramic sunroof with a sunshade is in place. Shoulder space for tall passengers is a bit tight, but isofix for child seats is available. The trunk measures 90-95 cm in length.

For now, at the time of recording, prices were unavailable. The urban cruiser will start at around $30,000, while the BZ4X is around $50,000, so the C-HR+ might be around $40,000.

The electric C-HR will have a lower center of gravity and a stiffer chassis than the hybrid C-HR.
