There is a choice of two batteries. The larger is 100 kWh, useable 94.9 kWh. The smaller is 83 kWh, useable 79 kWh.

The cheapest version has 380 miles of range. The longer range version reaches 460 miles.

The A6 e-tron boasts an 800 V electric architecture, so is capable of accepting super-fast maximum charging speeds.

The A6 e-tron can accept 270kW max charging, for a 10-80% charge in 21 minutes.

It has a standard 11kW AC charging. Optionally this can be up to 22kW.

Regular version of the car will cover 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds. The top speed is 130mph.

Top end S6 models will cover 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds.

The boot space in both the sports back and avant is 502 Liters. Above the parcel shelf the avant has extra space.

There is front storage of 27 litres.

Digital door mirrors will be an option.

The interiors have gloss blacks, fabric, and hard plastics.

UK pricing is near to car launch. The starting price of the A6 Sportback e-tron is around £62,000. A6 Avant e-tron is around £64,000. S6 models will be close to £100,000.

Available to order from September 2024.

The Sportback will be the only version available outside Europe.
