The starting price is £30,000 for the Mini Cooper E with £34,500 for the Mini Cooper SE. The entry level price point is not overly expensive but not the best value for money.
The interior has a lot of personality that isn't blend and it is responsive. However, it isn’t easy to use while driving and it can be distracting. There are also quite a few hard plastics.
While there are more practical small electric cars to choose from, the handling is better and sportier in this new model. There is good suspension. Rear space is reduced.
