Video Summary

Okay, here is the summary:

The first-generation Nissan Leaf was a successful trailblazer in electric cars.  The newer Leaf has been redesigned as an SUV, and the design includes flush door handles, and 18-19 inch wheels. The interior is very different from the earlier Leaf, with similarities to the Aria. It has dual 14.3-inch touchscreens running a Google-based infotainment system. The top three trim levels include the bigger screens, but the entry-level one does not. In the rear seats, there is good knee and legroom for adults, but the sloping roofline impacts the available headroom. The boot space offers a 437-liter capacity, less than its competitors. It has a false floor. The car now uses a CCS connector, for more easily accessed rapid charging. It does not have a sliding or reclining function for the rear seats. There will be two battery options: 52 kWh and 72 kWh. This gives the new Leaf a WLTP range of 271 or 375 miles.  The top two grades get an electrically powered tailgate as standard. Charging rates can reach 150 kW with the larger battery. One of its advantages includes V2L or vehicle to load, which would enable powering accessories from the car’s battery.
