Video Summary

Here's the summary of the Tesla Model Y review video:

The Tesla Model Y is available in three trims in the UK: Rear Wheel Drive (£44,990), Long Range Rear Wheel Drive (£48,990), and Long Range All Wheel Drive (£51,990); also the Launch Edition (approximately £60-61,000).  It is not endorsed by Tesla. The reviewer aims to determine if the car is worth the price tag.

Electric Range:
Tesla has not yet shared the battery pack capacity, though it's believed to be over 82 kWh. A heat pump is standard across all trims, using heat from vehicle electronics to heat the cabin, increasing efficiency.
WLTP claimed range: RWD: 311 miles, LR RWD/AWD: 387/364 miles, respectively.
Tested range for Launch Edition: 275-295 miles.

Charging:
The supercharger network is integrated with route planning via the infotainment system.
DC Charging (175-250 kW): Takes ~25 mins to go from 10% to 80%.
AC Charging (150kW): Takes ~40 mins to go from 10% to 80%.
AC Charging (11kW): Takes ~7-9 hrs to go from 0% to 100%.
AC Charging (7kW): Takes ~11-13 hrs to go from 0% to 100%.
Home charging (2.3kW): Takes ~35+ hrs to go from 0% to 100%.

Driving Comfort:
The updated suspension system is firmer than the outgoing model; more planted on winding roads with less body roll.
Driving around town can be rocky/jittery.

Performance:
The models are similarly powerful to the older generation. There is no official performance data from Tesla. A 0-60mph time for the Launch Edition is listed as: 1.31s/1.97s/4.11s (0-20/30/60 mph, respectively). 50-70mph acceleration is reported as 1.72 seconds at 0.7g peak acceleration. Top speed is electronically limited to 125 mph.

Interior and Tech:
There are customizable LED trim, better materials such as Alcantara, all-black interior with available white as a costly option. No instrument cluster or heads-up display. It has a Tesla app which has a great function such as remote climate controls, safety monitor and integrated Supercharger network. The infotainment system integrates Google Maps. Google Maps shows charging options and gives an accurate estimate of range remaining.

Additional points:
Standard features include electronic seat operation, heated and ventilated seats. Heated steering wheels is also available.
A Tesla app has great functions like Remote Climate Controls or Sentry Mode. Dashcam is included. The infotainment screen and general audio reproduction is impressive.
It has plenty of storage in cabin, including 65-watt USB-C and frunk with 117-liter capacity. Electric tailgate is standard. Rear seats are easily operable.

The verdict: the car is a refinement over the outgoing model, the Tesla Model Y is a fantastic EV and worthy of a Best Buy award.
