The Audi Q4 e-tron comes in regular and Sportback versions, with the Sportback looking cooler. The front features a big grill, which is unnecessary for an electric vehicle, but the headlights have cool animations. The light bar on the back also has animations. Both vehicles have two displays as standard equipment. The Audi center display includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Tesla infotainment is really good and has built-in Google Maps and a web browser. There are also games. Both vehicles get over-the-air updates. Only the Audi has a heads-up display.
The Tesla has a vector-space 360-degree view as standard equipment and auto-shift functionality. The Tesla additionally has a 30-day free FSD trial. Audi has lane-change assist and park assist features. A Sentry mode constantly records suspicious activity around the vehicle and, in cases of major threats, triggers the alarm system and sends a phone notification. There’s also a “dog mode” to help protect pets.
As for the powertrains, the Model Y features two electric motors, 435 horsepower, 380 pound-feet of torque, an 82-kilowatt-hour battery good for 327 miles, and 250-kilowatt charging. The standard Q4 e-tron has rear wheel drive and produces 200 horsepower and 230 pound-feet of torque, with a 63 kilowatt-hour battery good for 260 miles. The Q4 45 e-tron is available as either rear or all-wheel drive. Output is about 280 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. All Q4s have an 82-kilowatt-hour battery, which leads to about 340 miles of range. Q4's charge at up to 175 kilowatts. The model y can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.1 seconds, The Q4 45 e-tron in 7.7 seconds, and the Q4 55 e-tron in 5.1 seconds.
Both vehicles have suspension, sway bars, torque vectoring, and regenerator breaking. It was found that the Model Y is way more high-tech and practical.
