Video Summary

The Nissan e-NV200 is the new version with a 40 kWh battery pack. The reviewer wanted to do a range test but he had limited time and there were not many fast chargers around. The range test consisted of an eco run of 90 km an hour on the speedometer, which equals 85 km/h on GPS. The battery started at 70% charge and eco mode was on. Consumption was very low because they had a tailwind and went downhill. The run included going in one direction, then turning back to make up for the elevation change and wind. Turning around, they were able to do almost 15 km of driving, and then going back the consumption increased. A summer test in these conditions gave 165 watt/km in good conditions. With the numbers recorded after the run of 47.6 km and consuming 24% battery, the van can estimate a range of 198 km or 123 miles in the summer. There were an estimated 36 kWh of energy available and 200 km possible. A winter run would give maybe a slightly less range of 170 km.
