Video Summary

The Opel Zafira Electric has been available since 1999 and has changed from a minivan to a transporter that can fit up to 9 people.
The 2024 version received a facelift.
It is powered by a single electric motor on the front axle, producing 100 kW or 136 horsepower, and offers 270 Nm of torque.
The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 14.2 seconds, with a top speed of 130 km/h.
Consumption is 24.8 to 25 kWh per 100 km, allowing a range of 347 km on a full battery.
The car is 2.2 meters wide, including the mirrors.
New for the facelift is the Opel Vizor, a black surface with the Opel logo in the front, flanked by LED headlights.
It has a metallic inlay, body-colored upper part, and open lower intake.
The basic model has 16-inch steel wheels, while the GS trim has 17-inch alloy wheels.
It's 4.98m long, with a 3.28m wheelbase, and a 1.89m height, shorter than the longer version.
The long version has a larger overhang at the rear.
Proportions are those of a transporter with a short hood, flat windshield, and roofline.
It has high-gloss black side mirror caps and darkened rear windows.
Inside, there's hard plastic, with no soft-touch surfaces.
The doors have some metallic-look details.
The steering wheel is leather, and is flattened at the bottom, plus it has the Opel logo on glossy black.
It has a digital cockpit display.

There are only two powertrain options: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with 130 kW or 177 horsepower, plus an eight-speed automatic, or the electric motor.
The battery can charge up to 11 kW with alternating current or 100 kW via DC.
According to Opel, it takes about 7.5 hours to fully charge the car with AC, while it can charge from 5 to 80% at a fast charger in 45 minutes.
It offers different seating configurations, including six, seven, or nine seats.
Standard equipment includes air conditioning, a digital cockpit, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and digital radio.
Optional features include various seating configurations, higher grade trim, and driver assistance features.
Basic assistance systems include an emergency braking system, a lane-keeping assistant, and a fatigue detection.
Features such as adaptive cruise control, side protection, a blind-spot assistant, and front and rear parking assistance are available optionally.

Its consumption measured was 24.5 kWh per 100 km, which is an acceptable value according to the data sheet. However, there is no specific function available in the car for charging planning with electric vehicles.

The Opel Zafira Electric provides a lot of space, comfort, and practicality in that sector. ADAC recommends having the vehicle tested before buying, to ensure the model and configuration suit your needs. With the diesel version, it starts at 39,950 Euros and starts at 47,550 Euros with the smaller battery and the price to add the larger battery will set you back an additional 6,000 Euros. The reviewer finds it to be quite competitive and more than capable.
