Video Summary

Here is a summary of the YouTube video:

The Polestar 4 has received a software update (P4.2.1) that addresses issues identified during a previous long trip test.
The software update has improved the ADAS, charging, and infotainment system.
The long trip tested involves driving 610 km, ranking cars by charging time needed to cover it.

The last long trip test with the Polestar 4 was very problematic.
Since the last test, the ADAS is now mostly fixed.
Lane centering is confidence-inspiring, even on country roads.

However, the delay from engaging pilot assist or adaptive cruise control until it engages is an issue.
There's complexity in toggling between pilot assist and normal adaptive cruise.
Toggling between the two modes can be confusing.
There is no longer a chime when engaging/disengaging.

The lane centering on the motorway is very good to use.
Without using the blinker it will disengage, but will reengage immediately.
Sometimes, after disengaging auto-steer and changing lanes and re-engaging, the car snaps into place, and can feel a little strong.

The Polestar 4 long range dual motor is very comfortable due to the suspension, quietness and cabin refinement. The cabin is great.
The average consumption was 22.2 kWh/100km.
Charging the car to 60 percent then driving the 610km long route resulted in a 13-minute charging time. It has been tested with 20 inch wheels and is a great car and the test was a success.

This is better than a previous test, where the car had poor performance, with many problems with the ADAS, charging, and infotainment system. But, that was in cold, damp conditions.

The car is equipped with an easy-to-use infotainment system and a good Harmon Kardon stereo.
The charging port is located on the rear driver-side quarter panel.
Preconditioning of the car's battery has also been improved.
