Video Summary

The 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance, purchased in October, has been the best car ever owned. It suits everything that is loved in a car, and is a missile on a back road. It is not an off-road vehicle or has a lot of space, but it suits their case of usage.  The car has a great spider web of capabilities.

The video is of making it ready to be traded in and sold. It will include putting it back to stock, and a bath prior to going back to Tesla. The state and federal tax credits helped with the purchasing.

The car was $54990, has midnight silver metallic paint for free and upgraded white interior.  It arrived newly built, but there was a huge inventory discount. The new model of Tesla was rumoured but the offer was too good to pass on.

The car had a few upgrades that will need removing, including: Martian MW05 wheels in Satin Bronze that have been owned for 4 years that were on another Tesla car; The mountain pass performance Sport coil over suspension; And Full Alcantara trim.

For the trade in at Tesla the mods will be removed but he is deciding to leave the black emblems on.
- The interior was vacuumed and wiped down of smudges in preparation.
- All the suspension will be taken off to leave the OEM’s as stock
- The tires were switched to original specification P Zero tyres.
Cheap wheel spacers are unsafe, and the bolts should be torqued to specification for safety.
- It is a $3-4 hour shop to put the car into stock, it took about 5 hours to complete start to finish. The spring compressor was the hardest element of the conversion.
The car has 14-15K miles on it.

The overall opinion of the car is that once it is back to stock it looks “terrible”.
