TESLA MODEL X PLAID | REVIEW on AUTOBAHN [NO SPEED LIMIT]

Uploaded 2 years ago by AutoTopNL

Video Summary

The Tesla Model X Plaid is the crazy version with 1020 US horsepower and a trimotor setup. This test car is a blue version, with the details around the car blackened out. It has a slightly revised front end and new headlights. The aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.24, which is the best for any SUV out there, making it a very slippery SUV. It has optional 22-inch turbine wheels. Standard is a 20-inch cyberstream wheel, going to 22” loses 30km range. No carbon ceramic breaks are part of the options now but they are rolling out the after market update. The interior is much different from previous Model X versions. It has a 6-seat arrangement, with heated seats, USB ports and a built-in screen. The interior is made of leather and carbon fiber. With 2 and a half ton cars and a top speed of 262km/h, brakes are important. The yoke is not as good as a standard wheel, but Tesla offers a regular wheel as an option. The tester preferred the comfort setting. The Model X can be tested in the “track strip” mode. The acceleration on the test run was recorded as 2.8 seconds using the drag strip mode and on mile marker 2.7 seconds. Performance is still decreasing at time of testing.
