The Tesla Model Y long-range, rear-wheel-drive car, built for Europe in Germany, is based on the same platform as the all-wheel-drive version and has the same battery. The front of the rear-wheel-drive version has no electric motor. Improved suspension and geometry has been implemented, to make the car more stable and dynamic. The suspension setup is the same as the all-wheel drive version.

It has the same 81 kWh battery as other models. The long-range rear-wheel-drive is the lightest Tesla, at 1901 kilograms, whereas the all-wheel-drive is 1997 kilograms. It has 304 horsepower, which is 66 less than the all-wheel-drive. 0 to 100km/h takes 5.6 seconds. Its charging is identical at 250 kW in DC. Its top speed is 201 km/h. Ground clearance is 16.7 cm. Towing capacity is 1600 kg.

The car costs 50,000 euros, which is 3,000 euros cheaper than the all-wheel-drive version.The new versions come with an improved suspension and geometry, with better stability and quality articulation.

The Standard range comes with 170 kW in DC. With 20-inch rims, the range is 622 kilometers but with 19-inch rims the range increases to 650. Consumption is 14.2kWh on 20-inch rims; with 15.3 on all-wheel drive. It has 2138 liters of trunk space and rear seats fold down in the back. The speaker system is a base system, with the quality considered as very good. The car has a full self-driving computer 4 with heat pump and AMD Ryzen CPU, with 2G/3G/4G capability.

The white interior looks luxurious. New seats are more comfortable, ventilated, and have a headrest that is more straightforward, providing a perfect position. Double glass is used, which reduces outside noise. It had same matrix LED headlights, same cameras and has the same exterior look. A new feature is if you stay behind it, it automatically opens.
