Video Summary

The Hyundai Inster is an exciting and adorable proposition targeted at Gen Z, set to arrive in late 2024 or early 2025. Its price will rival the Citroen eC3, which starts at £22,000. Design-wise, it looks unique, happy and cheerful, incorporating boxy, rugged, utilitarian touches with friendly circular elements and Ionic-inspired pixelation.

The interior features amazing houndstooth sofas. It is not EV-only architecture. It utilizes the space very well with foldable front seats and sliding rear seats. Two battery options are on offer: 49-kilowatt-hours, and 42-kilowatt hours, targeting 217 miles of range with a 113 horsepower single motor, front wheel drive. The car features 11-kilowatt AC charging as standard, and 80-kilowatt rapid charging, capable of charging from 10-80% in 25-30 minutes. It is equipped with a heat pump as standard and has a vehicle-to-load option. The cup holders are part of the seat structure, with a phone holder, creating a "cake-car" vibe. This tiny A-segment car has a reasonable 280 liter boot.
