The 2024 Acura ZDX will share a platform with the Cadillac Lyriq, with a potential 500 horsepower. Battery capacity has not been shared, but is expected to include the Lyriq's 102 kWh battery. It has an expected range in the 300-mile range. Base model is expected to start around $60,000 - $70,000.

Buick is entering the electric car race with the Electra E5. It uses an Ultium battery platform designed by General Motors, similar in specifications to the Cadillac Lyriq but a more budget version. Horsepower is approximately 350 - 400 depending on the trim and feature levels. The interior has a unique style with a 30-inch infotainment display.

The Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV provides up to 671 horsepower and 500 kilowatts. Two variants will be offered with four trim levels, including an AMG edition. The base 350+ will feature a single motor producing 288 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque. All models will come with an optional hyper screen display. With 205-kilowatt charging rates, the Mercedes trails Tesla's supercharging speeds.

The VinFast VF7 will be compared with the Toyota bZ4X. It is expected to be the best fan favorite model. There will be eco-plus versions, just like the smaller VF6. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive model will boast 349 horsepower and 368-pound feet of torque. The front-wheel drive single-motor VF7 Eco is targeted to produce 201 horsepower and 228 pound-feet of torque. Design includes front LED lights with animated effects. There is no battery pack capacity or EV system-charging information yet.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer EV is taking styling cues from the current gasoline-powered vehicles, offering 400 miles of range with 600 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds.
