Video Summary

Here is a summary of the YouTube video:

This is a review of the 2025 Toyota BZ (non-4x). The base grade in America is the XLE. The battery pack is smaller, now at 57.7 kWh, previously it was 71-72 kWh; this is good, since it makes the car lighter. It's front-wheel drive, meaning less energy is wasted on a rear motor, just a single motor powering the front wheels. It has smaller 19-inch wheels, but with that comes better ride quality. With this small battery, the reviewer estimates 236 miles of range on the base trim. Has a single, smaller 168 horsepower front motor, but it still provides instant power and torque making it more responsive than even the 220 horsepower Toyota Hybrids. Smaller battery capacity outputs less energy to front motor, which reduces horsepower output, also has smaller wheels.

Good features are paint-matched wheel arches, and a brand-new hammerhead grill with a light bar in front. The charging port is now NACS (North American Charging Standard) compatible, therefore can charge at Tesla supercharging networks, it still only has a peak of 150kW DC fast charge. There is battery preconditioning for faster charging speeds. It has 1500-watt power accessory, standard on the base model.

Cloth seats let your back breathe. There are USB-Cs in back, vents in back, rubber floor mats, tons of leg space. Auto folding mirrors are standard. Has heated seats and heated steering wheel standard as well. A dual wireless charger is standard.

Newer models don't have the annoying backup noise; a synthetic noise that’s used on hybrids. This car is likely being shipped out mainly to California, a zero-emission vehicle state.
5-miles per kWh.

Reviewer says 230 miles range, just for driving around town.
If you want the increased acceleration, etc. you pay, and that impacts your mileage, the new BZ's are 5-miles kWh.
Electric RAV4. This vehicle is just so much better due to upgrades and improved performance.
A real key is the comfort and better driving experience for its price.

The reviewer did 0 to 60 and got 7.8 seconds, and the numbers are pretty close to a R4 Hybrid. He’s excited for people to try out this new option.
