Driving in normal mode the steering is light. It can also be switched to sport mode. A bit of weight to the steering wheel and has an immediacy to the power delivery. Feels some vibrations through the wheel. Acceleration is strong, but torque steer and wheel hop are experienced, and still Vinfast says VF6 can get to 100 kph in 8.89 seconds. It is 204 hp single-motor FWD.

The rear seats do not offer great thigh support, but the seat comfort is good with soft back cushions and cup holders. A large fixed glass roof is included with film shade. The side of the VF6 is a distinctive design for what it is (Crossover).
VF7 has a dual motor all-wheel drive configuration with much more power and feels more planted on the road.
