Video Summary

The ID.7 GTX has a twin-motor, four-wheel-drive system with 340 horsepower. It can reach 60 mph in under 5.5 seconds.

Compared to the regular ID.7, the GTX has stronger stabilizers, retuned steering, tweaked Dynamic Chassis Control, and an ESC sport mode. Its top speed is 112 mph, which is less than an entry-level Golf. The weight exceeds 2.3 tons. There’s a lot of space, with 605 liters of space that rises to over 1,700 with the seats folded.

The quality of the interior is improved, with a plush feel, an improved infotainment system, and back-lit climate control sliders.

The front bumper, daytime running lights, and honeycomb trim are new.

It offers an 86 kWh battery pack which has a claimed 359 miles of range. Its charging can reach up to 200kW.

The ride can be stiff due to sport mode and 20-inch wheels. There is some loss of feel from not having an engine and gearbox.

For a sporty electric vehicle, the ID.7 offers comfort, refinement, practicality, good build quality, and useful technology.
