Video Summary

The two models, SU7 and XU7, are planned to be sold overseas within the next twelve months. The SU7 has received good reviews, but some customers have crashed it a fair few times because of rear-wheel drive and lots of power. The YU7 shares a similar platform and design to the SU7. This car isn't particularly practical and is more of a style vehicle. The interior has a 16-inch center infotainment screen and is similar to the SU7. The YU7 is about 5 meters long and 2 meters wide, similar to the SU7, but about 5.7 inches lower. While it is unknown what specific battery it uses, the YU7 is going to use a CATL lithium ternary battery pack, similar to the SU7, which has a 73.6 kWh battery in its cheapest version, a 94.3 kWh battery for its mid-spec version, and 101 kWh battery in the longest range version, the latter of which has about 497 miles of range. Chinese media outlets are suggesting the YU7 will start around $34,000 USD and max out at $41,000 USD for the longest range version. They can currently make an SU7 in 57 seconds. These principles used to make the SU7 and YU7 use gigacasting and structural battery packs, speeding up production. Production is to happen in Xiaomi's Beijing factory, which has hit the 100,000 unit milestone.
