Xiaomi SU7: AMAZING Performance EV with HUGE PROBLEM!

Video Summary
The Xiaomi SU7, called the Icarus of the Chinese EV world, flies too close to the sun, but props are still due for getting that close on a low budget. Drawbacks should be expected, as the car is value for money. Xiaomi is now in the EV space with its established formula: offering flagship-like specs for mid-level money. The car had almost 89,000 orders in the first 24 hours. Some issues have come to light, including thin paint and quarter panels coming undone
There are 4-piston Brembo brakes, but apparently, they can suck in some environments with break failures occuring
The base-rear-wheel drive has a 73.6-kilowatt-hour battery with an approximate 700-kilometer range and a 25-minute charge time from 10 to 80 percent
The Xiaomi SU7 Pro has a 94.4-kilowatt-hour battery from CATL, and delivers a longer 830 kilometer range and can charge to 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
The interior styling is sporty, and generally looks good. There's a 7.1-inch instrument panel, and a huge heads-up display equivalent to a 56-inch screen. The steering wheel is Porsche-esque with tactile swivel knobs for the ADAS system and drive modes. On the large touchscreen is Xiaomi's Hyper OS. It integrates many smart devices.
The interior isn't premium, and switches are hard plastic
However, in the back, there's reasonable leg room, decent-sized trunk, and rear fridge. It has been found to be the trunk king of the SEVs in comparison to its competitors
The top model's AWD powertrain pushes 495 kilowatts and 838 Nm of torque: 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds with a top speed of 265 km/h. It handles well. With standard road breaks, it does not break like a Porsche does, especially on the track. The all-wheel drive has adjustable power distribution, including completely rear wheel drive. An exterior underglow feature is being offered.
What is disappointing is the Chinese copy-cat styling. Some headlight and rear quarter panel styles seem borrowed from Porsche and McClaren models.
At 215,900 RMB/under $30,000 it is a great overall value.
All in all, it's a good package with the caveat that it doesn't live up to every claim that Xiaomi has made. The driving dynamics in SU7 are absolutely class.
