The Model 3 cost about $53,000. The Rivian R1T has a larger, powered front trunk. It features pass-through storage in the back containing a first aid kit and a compressor. Tesla has many cool security features and the “dog mode”. Rivian calls the security mode “gear guard.”  The Rivian R1T has a tire kit and space for a spare tire.  The Rivian is a useful vehicle with all these features and great performance for its size.
