Oregon offers a variety of EV incentives, including rebates for purchasing and installing home charging stations, as well as rebates for purchasing or leasing EVs. Several utilities also offer time-of-use electricity rates to encourage charging during off-peak hours.

Category: Charger RebatesSalem Electric offers customers a rebate of up to $500 for purchase and installation of a ChargePoint Home Flex (level 2) electric vehicle charger.
EV Charging Station Rebate • Consumers Power Inc. & General Pacific Inc.
Category: Charger RebatesConsumers Power and General Pacific provide a rebate of up to $400 to customers who purchase a qualifying EV charging station directly from their online store. This rebate cannot be combined with the Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Rebate offered by CPI.

Category: Charger RebatesEWEB offers rebates to residential and commercial customers for the installation of EV charging stations. Residential customers may receive a rebate of up to $500 for a Level 2 EV charging station.
EV Charging Station and Registration Rebates • Central Electric Cooperative
Category: Charger RebatesCentral Electric Cooperative (CEC) offers a $450 rebate for the purchase and installation of qualifying EV charging stations, or $150 if the charger is not BPA-qualified. Additionally, customers can receive a $50 rebate for registering their EV within CEC territory.
Residential EV Charging Station Rebate and TOU Rate • Portland General Electric
Category: Charger RebatesPGE offers rebates for EV charging station installations. Residential customers can claim up to $500 in rebates ($1,000 if income-qualified) for a certified Level 2 charger, or $50 for non-certified stations. An additional rebate of $1,000 is available ($5,000 if income-qualified) for an electrical panel upgrade.
PGE also offers a TOU rate for residential customers.
Category: Charger RebatesCPI offers customers a $200 rebate for qualifying EV charging stations. Limit: one rebate per charger and one per residence. This rebate cannot be combined with the ChargePoint HomeFlex Instant Rebate offered by CPI and General Pacific.
EV Charging Station Rebate and TOU Rate • Pacific Power
Category: Charger RebatesPacific Power provides rebates for EV chargers. Residential customers can receive up to $500 for hardwired Level 2 EV chargers, or $250 if installing a 240-volt home charging station. Low-income residents are eligible for up to $1,500. By applying for the rebate, you'll be automatically enrolled in the TOU rate program.

Category: Electricity DiscountsCoos-Curry Electric Cooperative offers $15 monthly bill credit to customers who charge their EVs between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
The U.S. federal government offers EV tax credits to make going electric more affordable! New EV buyers may qualify for up to a $7,500 tax credit, depending on the car’s specs and buyer’s income. For pre-owned EVs, you could receive up to $4,000. Plus, homeowners in low-income or rural areas can get up to $1,000 for installing an EV charger.
Federal Tax Credit for New Electric Vehicles
Category: Tax BenefitsAll-electric vehicles purchased new in 2023 or after may be eligible for a federal income tax credit of up to $7,500. The credit is nonrefundable, so you can't get back more on the credit than you owe in taxes. Also, you can't apply any excess credit to future tax years.
The availability of the credit will depend on several factors: Vehicle's MSRP, Final assembly location, Battery component and/or critical minerals sourcing, Taxpayer’s modified adjusted gross income (AGI).
Federal Tax Credit for Pre-Owned Electric Vehicles
Category: Tax BenefitsPre-owned all-electric vehicles purchased in 2023 or after may be eligible for a federal income tax credit. The credit equals 30% percent of the sale price up to a maximum credit of $4,000. The credit is nonrefundable, so you can't get back more on the credit than you owe in taxes. Also, you can't apply any excess credit to future tax years.
The vehicle must be purchased from a dealer, have a sale price of $25,000 or less, and must have a model year two years prior to the current calendar year.
Category: Tax BenefitsIndividuals in low-income communities and non-urban areas who purchase qualified residential EV charger after January 1, 2023, may receive a tax credit of up to $1,000.
In order to qualify, individuals need to be located in low-income community census tracts or non-urban census tracts as defined in IRS Notice 2024-20.
