Video Summary

The BMW i3 has a younger, high-tech, environmentally friendly customer base. The entire passenger cell is made up of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. The plastic and door panels are made from recycled plastic. The factory used to develop the recycled materials is located in Washington state, and it is powered by windmills and watermills. It is the most environmentally friendly car on the road. The interior is spacious in a small car. There is good knee and headroom in the back. It comfortably seats four people. The trunk is impressive and the seats can be folded down to increase storage. The car’s Regen braking is weird at first, but allows you to drive using only the accelerator. After getting used to the regenerative braking it feels natural. The steering is good. It is fun to toss around corners. It can be accurately placed where you want it. The weighting of the wheel is light. Even though it is short-wheelbased and has skinny tires, it is a comfortable car even for long periods of time. It does not drive or look like any other car. The big news about the 2017 model is the new 94 amp hour battery which gives it a total range of about 114 miles. It makes you smile and laugh. It has a lot of personality. The range extender model comes with a small gasoline engine that recharges the battery if it goes flat.
