Video Summary

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 is a new, more affordable EQB with a longer driving range

It starts at $53,900 for the base configuration, $54,645 for the Exclusive trim, and $57,195 for the Pinnacle trim

All trims have the same power plant, which is a single front-mounted electric motor producing 188 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque, going to the front wheels only

The 0-60 mph time is approximately 8 seconds, and the range comes in at 250 miles, seven miles over the EQB 300

A 10% to 80% charge takes approximately 31 minutes

There's an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty on the battery, and a standard four-year, 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.

It offers dynamic modes: individual, sport, comfort, and eco. Sport mode adjusts the throttle response and steering sensitivity.

It has four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.

The front and rear have an independent suspension, resulting in good ride quality.

There is minimal road noise. The car had some wind noise

Rear visibility is excellent due to the car's shape. The car features rain-sensing windshield wipers. The power tailgate comes standard

The cargo capacity is 22 cubic feet. The 40/20/40 split folding rear seats, when folded, expands that to 62 cubic feet. Under-floor storage, grocery bag hooks, tie-down anchors, side pockets, netted storage, a cargo cover, a 12-volt power outlet, and grocery bag hooks are included.

The MB-Tex upholstery comes standard on the front seats. The seats are 12-way power adjustable with four-way power lumbar, and memory settings are provided for up to three drivers. Heated and ventilated front seats are optional for $950.

The tilt and telescoping steering wheel is manually adjustable.

A heated steering wheel is a $250 option.

It includes a frameless rearview mirror, and a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster with multiple loadouts. Keyless entry is standard with a push-button start.

A universal garage door opener is a $280 option, offering the garage door opening features for three different garage doors

Bluetooth and audio streaming, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a factory navigation system are included, and optional wood trim is available. The standard 10-speaker sound system, putting out 225 watts, is more than adequate.

Safety features include: active brake assist, active park assist, attention assist, blind spot monitoring system, and a Mercedes-Benz emergency call system. The driver assistance package for $1300 adds adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, speed limit recognition, and lane change assist.

It is the most affordable EQB and has the best range, great interior quality, and quiet cabin. However, Mercedes-Benz should make driver assistance packages standard.
