The radar sensor plate has been integrated to look better. The very bottom of the bumper has some little details to make it more interesting. The powerfolding mirrors have LED turn signal indicators. The side windows are lined with chrome trim that curves back into the rear quarter window. A 21-inch aluminum alloy wheel is exclusive to the sport prestige model, with a complex webbed pattern. There is Genesis branding on the break calipers in a dark gun-metal finish. The tires it rides on are 255/40 Michelin primacy four all-season tires.

The GV70 is equipped with remote start parking assist and the smart park feature. The LED third brake light is incorporated into a light bar that runs across the top deck-lid spoiler. The back has a rounded shape sloping off the rear glass. The LED taillights mirror the headlights in front, with the turn signals in the same location. The license plate is located down in the bumper that has the same pattern as the front. Large round exhaust pipes are incorporated into the bumper and the very bottom is finished in gloss black.

The power liftgate has a hidden button on the wiper. There are 28.9 cubic feet of space. Additional storage and a jack set under the floor. It has a 12-volt outlet for charging. Seats fold, providing 56.8 cubic feet.

The GV70 interior is a bit different than the GV80 with an oval design. Panel and trim pieces all have this same oval shape to them. The LED ambient lighting really stands out. The black leatherette upper dash has red contrast stitching and a Sevilla red lower section with black stitching. The door panel has stitched leatherette, red leather in the middle and on the armrest. A 12.3-inch 3D digital cockpit is the driver's display. Displays trip computer, tire pressure, driver attention level, and a turn signal camera. Drive modes are Snow, Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Custom. Has a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. There is a 360 camera, reverse camera, navigation, and USB audio/bluetooth and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (Wired). Front has two USB A ports and a wireless charger.

Center console has two dials: one for infotainment and one for transmission selector. It has AC climate controls. Also, there are manual rear sunshades.

Engine: 2.5-liter turbo charged four-cylinder, putting out 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. 0 to 60 takes 7.2 seconds. The fuel economy ratings are combined 22 miles per gallon; 19 in the city, 26 on the highway and the capacity of the fuel tank is 17.4 gallons. The MSRP is $59,175.
